At Jam Asia, Hong Kong, a fairly full plate of BB10 leisure apps announced by BB. Some new, some available elsewhere/previously. All in all, for Blackberry a ‘critical mass’ of such content. Better late than never?
Angry Birds (available on previous BB platforms) does give a not-so-serious twist to a very dry brand. Having lots of (memory-sucking) streaming network news/ sports/ show media sources (with a big twist on Asian audience content) is essential in a One-Device BYOD era. CBS Sports, ABC, NBC, Discovery, History…
Though perhaps too late to the party?
The magic buried in the long list might be BB’s pairing to a few China-specific social networking/chat properties: Kaixin, Sina Weibo, WeChat. None are at the top of their game anymore, but not are forgotten, either.
Here’s the release
